This section provides a detailed description of all available machine parameters that can be used to plan the working position and winch utilization for the selected machine. The available parameters vary depending on the machine, machine configuration and mode. You can adjust them either by using sliders or by entering values directly.

Angle of the base arm

The leader radius is primarily adjusted by the angle of the base arm. In the Foundation Equipment Planner, the left end value of the slider indicates the minimum angle of the base arm and the resulting minimum leader radius. The right end value on the slider corresponds to the maximum angle of the base arm and the maximum adjustable leader radius.

Universal carriage position

The universal carriage position indicates the position of the carriage, which is raised or lowered along the leader to move the work device up and down. The left end value refers to the lowest point on the leader.

Leader tilt X

The Leader tilt (X) defines the lateral tilt of the leader. Entering a negative value tilts the leader head to the left. Entering a positive value tilts the leader head to the right.

Leader tilt Y

The leader tilt (Y) defines the leader's forward and backward tilt. Entering a negative value tilts the leader head backward. Entering a positive value tilts the leader head to the forward.

Uppercarriage rotation

The uppercarriage rotation refers to the rotation angle of the uppercarriage relative to the undercarriage.

The rotation angle is defined within the range of 0° to 360° and increases as the rotation goes clockwise (to the right).

Force of leader base support

Force with which the leader support presses against the ground. In the ground pressure visualization, the value is converted to kN/m² or psi. This parameter is exclusively available if the selected machine configuration includes a leader base support.

Force of left rear support

The force with which the left rear support presses against the ground. In the ground pressure visualization, the value is converted to kN/m² or psi. This parameter is exclusively available if the counterweight of the selected machine configuration is equipped with a rear support.

Force of right rear support

The force with which the right rear support presses against the ground. In the ground pressure visualization, the value is converted to kN/m² or psi. This parameter is exclusively available if the counterweight of the selected machine configuration is equipped with a rear support.

Force of auxiliary winch

Input the value to set the load of auxiliary winch.

Force of Kelly winch

Input the value to set the load of Kelly winch.

Force of crowd winch

Input the value to set the load of crowd winch. Negative values are used for pushing, and positive values for pulling.

Force of winches in parallel operation

Input the value to set the load of Kelly winch and crowd winch in parallel operation. Negative values are used for pushing, and positive values for pulling.
